Although almost 5 months have passed, I have finally gotten everything back to normal and can write more than just a simple thank and a job well done.
Alfie came into my life a few weeks before my wedding in September 2014 She dropped by 1 Saturday afternoon to do my hair and make up trial. At the door I was met with a lovely smile and a professional manner. After a quick cup of coffee and a little chat to get to know one another the task of creating the perfect look was left in her hands. She listened to me intently on my likes and dislikes and offered up suggestions, which were not forced but when dealing with professionals you tend to listen to their thoughts and suggestions, because, they are after all the professionals. Whilst embarking on getting my wedding perfect conversation was easy and having recently lost my mother her tender heart and kind words made me feel at ease and turned my experience into one of great enjoyment. Our afternoon ended up with me looking like I was ready for a night on the town with the most beautiful hair and flawless makeup.
As men will be men, my husband did not offer up much of a reaction to the new me (which I know is pretty normal), however when he makes a comment I tend to pay attention, the thing was he was not too thrilled with the hairstyle I had chosen and my heart sank, that evening I went through every hairstyle on the web that I could find after many I found the ONE! Rather embarrassed I got in touch with Alfie the next day to let her know that now I would have to change the hairstyle, her response, was simply no problem. Fearing that I may offend her she put me at ease and assured me that the change would not be a problem at all.
The day of my wedding was a day filled with hurriedness, searching for things and making last minute arrangements. Alfie and her assistant arrived at our venue on time and instantly I was at ease. The work started straight away with the girls and I would be left for last. As time drew
closer for me I had a bath and settled into her chair the reality that one of the biggest days of my life had arrived had me whimpering in tears not only for the butterflies that has now overtaken my stomach but also missing my mother. Alfie’s caring nature had me happy in no time having
filled my champagne glass and talking to me I was back to over the moon happy. With my make up and hair done to absolute perfection she helped me get dressed, which to me was over and beyond what she had to do.
Alfie, I would like to thank you, although rather late, for being not only my hair and make up artist but for being the friend that I needed. I can honestly say that there is no one else that I would recommend other than yourself. You can be proud of the personal service that you provide. Oh and one last thing, my make up was so well done that the next morning I woke up I looked like I had just had my make up done.

It has been 8 months since my wedding and I find myself thinking about how beautiful and special you made me feel. You actually went that extra mile and started setting up and checking me in because I was late lol. I don't think anyone else would have done the same. You made my special day fun and kept reminding me that it's ok to be a few minutes late because I was the bride, it was was within my right:).
My make up was done perfectly and I felt like a million dollars! It was just what I wanted and more! Having you there the whole day for touch ups was a bonus.
My hair was done to perfection both times!. I love having my own personal beauty stylist there.
And lastly my pictures are amazing, I totally love how they came out. You captured our special day and all the special moments shared on the day. I'm in love with your work and in my opinion you are the best in the industry.
